- since 2015: Full professor for physiological psychology and head of MEG unit at the Centre for Cognitive Neuroscience of the University of Salzburg
- 2012-2015: Associate professor and head of MEG laboratory at the Center for Mind / Brain Sciences (CIMeC; Univ. of Trento)
- 2008-2012: Emmy-Noether Group leader and Fellow of the Zukunftskolleg at the University of Konstanz
- 2006-2008: Postdoc at the INSERM U821 (Brain Dynamics and Cognition lab; Director: Dr. Olivier Bertrand)
- 2004-2006: Postdoc at the University of Konstanz
